Truly Treats is a family-run bakery built on a love of great baking and a commitment to quality. Based in Devon, we started with a simple idea - to create delicious, handmade cakes, traybakes, and scones that businesses can rely on.
Over the years, we’ve grown into a hardworking, passionate team who take pride in what we do. Every bake is made with care, using quality ingredients and time-honoured techniques, ensuring our products taste as good as homemade. We believe in craftsmanship, innovation, and great service, and we’re proud to supply the foodservice industry across the UK with treats that everyone loves.

Our story
It all started on a snowy day in the French Alps.
Our love for homemade baking and great food took us there in the winter of 2009, where we spent the season cooking for chalet guests. It was in that mountain kitchen that we perfected our recipes, creating a variety of cakes and sweet treats that were eagerly devoured every day.
When we returned to the UK, we knew we wanted to turn our passion into something bigger - so in 2010, Truly Treats was born.
We started from home, selling at farmers' markets and local events, gradually earning a reputation for delicious, handmade bakes. Before long, we were supplying Devon cafés, weddings, and celebrations, laying the foundations for the thriving bakery we are today.

In 2012, we took the next big step - moving into our first commercial bakery in Teignmouth, Devon. After fully equipping the space, we were able to increase production and begin our journey as a wholesale cake supplier.
As demand grew, so did we. In 2015, we expanded into a larger, purpose-built bakery in Paignton, Devon, giving us the room to grow and take the business to the next level.
Over the years, Truly Treats has gone from strength to strength, bringing in more skilled bakers and decorators to keep up with demand - ensuring every cake, traybake, and scone is made with the same care and quality we started with.

Our final move came in 2019 when we relocated to our current bakery in Kingsteignton, Devon - and this time, we’re here to stay! Moving a bakery is no small task!
Now, our focus is on growing the wholesale side of the business, with the goal of making our products available across the UK in the coming years.
We’re always developing new and exciting bakes to keep things fresh - for both our customers and our team. Standing still isn’t in our nature!
